A radical act of self-compassion and self-care.
Restorative yoga is the gateway to deep rest & rejuvenation. Using props, you will fully support your body and free lingering tension, thus initiating the return to the parasympathetic nervous system (where we "rest" and "digest"). Deep relaxation and restoration is the focus of this practice. We will allow 10-30 minutes in each posture. Benefits of consistent practice: decreased anxiety, depression and fatigue, strengthened immune system, self-compassion and more. This practice is beneficial for all and requires no prior experience.
To Bring: Yoga mat (or borrow from us), 2 blankets, eye pillow (if you have one).
Start dates for Winter/Spring Sessions:
Mar. 9 (4 week program)
Apr. 6 (4 week program no class on Apr. 13, Easter Monday)
Classes take place on Monday mornings from 10-11:30am
